I’ve found out the different things you need to get your calendar alerts to work with Google Calendar. Go to Google Settings and Turn on Alerts. Make sure the alert type is pop-up. Make sure it’s set to 5 minutes, then make sure your iPhone is also set to 5 minutes. Make sure you have a sound selected on your iPhone. That’s it. Happy alerting…. It turns out it was because I had a css with overflow:hidden. In order to fix this you’ll need to set the overflow:visible on any css elements for your #{MAP ID} and subsequent div tags.
