From the Den of the Dogman: My Nightly Threesome

http://scottsdaledogman.blogspot.com/2009/12/my-nightly-threesome.html

Tuesday, December 08, 2009. It's been raining all day, which is a big deal in Phoenix. Unlike a lot of the people who live here, I hate the rain, and don't appreciate it all the more for its infrequency. I'm not sure if Levi. Dislikes the rain intrinsically, or if he picks up a vibe from me, but when it rains here, Levi doesn't even want to get up from the couch. If it's actively coming down, Levi won't voluntarily go in it. I've seen him refrain from peeing for 48 hours rather than get wet. That's how w...

Saturday, December 19, 2009. They Were Winners, Who Became the Doggie's Dinners. You've got to love this story from Dallas. Two pugs who ate their owner. S are now up for adoption! That's right. ATE their owners! It seems the married couple who owned the dogs committed suicide, together, leaving the dogs to fend for themselves, for at least days. What are two little doggies supposed to do? That's why Levi maintains dogs should always be allowed to determine their own necessary amount of fat reserves!

From the Den of the Dogman: My Turn: You’ve Got to Stop and Smell the Urine, by Levi

http://scottsdaledogman.blogspot.com/2009/12/my-turn-youve-got-to-stop-and-smell.html

Monday, December 07, 2009. My Turn: You’ve Got to Stop and Smell the Urine, by Levi. Dad's web site is misleading. If you read what he writes about me, you get the impression that I do not like puppies. Of course I like puppies! I am not a monster. Of course, when puppies are acting wrong, I do not like what they are doing. But I still like them. My motto, concerning puppies, is, "Love the sinner, hate the sin.". When you go for a walk, don't pull around crazily on your leash in every direction, puppy!

From the Den of the Dogman: Dreams of Dogs and Cats

http://scottsdaledogman.blogspot.com/2009/11/dreams-of-dogs-and-cats.html

Tuesday, November 03, 2009. Dreams of Dogs and Cats. It was the night of the full moon. The weather was glorious, and I was outside, on the patio, working on the computer. Levi. Was sleeping by the patio door, or Arcadia door, as they call them here. Was inside the twin-holed box that crowned her cat tower. That's where she keeps her weed stash. You know what I'm talking about. She's been spending more time high on the stuff than I've ever known her to before. Since I don't care to have my. Dreams," Eric...

From the Den of the Dogman: What Happened During Hibernation

http://scottsdaledogman.blogspot.com/2010/01/what-happened-during-hibernation.html

Thursday, December 31, 2009. What Happened During Hibernation. May 2010 be a great year for each of you. Thanks to my friend, Frank, I now have a few pictures of the original pack, Lyric, the German shepherd, Chelsea, Holden, and a couple more pictures of Karen. After enjoying a hibernation of a few weeks, I've decided to essentially shut down the Den of the Dogman. Over the last couple of months, I've written about all that I want to on the subject of dogs. Levi, Erica, Rocky and Chi-Chi, too). I have t...

Home Zookeeper2: Memories

http://homezookeeper2.blogspot.com/2010/02/memories.html

Friday, February 12, 2010. Next Saturday I'm taking Marshal to a puppy party to visit new Malamute pups. Looking at their pictures at 5.5 weeks old I am unable to not remember our trips to visit with Trooper when he was just a tiny guy. Today's Puppies under a car. Trooper and his brothers/sisters. What is it with being under the car? One of today's puppies. Me with my Trooper Bear. I miss that wedding ring. (. More baby doggy holding. Who could resist that face! And you can see all 350 pics on Flickr.

Home Zookeeper2: June 2009

http://homezookeeper2.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html

Tuesday, June 23, 2009. There are No Adequate Words to Express My Rage. As I waited for my 3D ultrasound appointment yesterday I listened to a local talk show … something I haven’t done in months. The host was talking about a horrendous attack on two women in SeaTac, WA (an hour or so from where I live). This wasn’t an ordinary attack or mugging. This attack involved children ages 11, 12, 13, and 15. And a pit bull. Deputies arrested the 15-year-old girl and three boys — 11, 12 and 13 years old. 8220;One...

Home Zookeeper2: Goodbye Sweet Boy

http://homezookeeper2.blogspot.com/2010/02/goodbye-sweet-boy.html

Monday, February 22, 2010. Trooper is going to go live with my sister in law in Seattle. Trooper taking care of me when I was sick. On the one hand I'm incredibly sad about this. But on the other hand, I'm relieved. I'm relieved that my home will now have three dogs, only one of which is young and rambunctious. I'm relieved that the dog fights that have become more and more frequent will cease. Waiting not so patiently for his food. He had a wonderful time last week, and gave my SIL SO much joy:. We then...

The sixth station blog. A Chicago expatriate who's now almost a full-fledged Milwaukeean is wiping faces and taking names. Ugh I should call *this* blog "This time for sure, Rocky!
