I'll admit it. this is a horrible excuse. but i really, really liked my cut up project, and i showed it to my roommate, and she showed it to her friend, and then they got in a big fight this weekend, and now i don't have my picture to scan and show. but maybe i will.pending a reconciliation. Anyhow. i really liked mine. i didn't use the same type of materials as Burroughs, I chose to bring to class-. Advocate ( i have 2 gay roommates, so we get 2 every month).

Thursday, April 10, 2008. Here is what I gather from reading those first 4 or 5 chapters. He is a DJ. He likes being a DJ. DJ's mix music. To mix music is to compile different genres. Mixing music defies pop culture. Pop culture is repetitive, which mixing is not. That's about it. Anyone else find the big picture? 160;Is there a "plot" to this composition? I have done the readings, and come to class ready to understand what's going on in them, but I still don't think I'm grasping the concepts of automoy and authorship. The personal advertisements would have been a kind of comedic twist on a well organized cd.
