My Microsoft, Cisco, Ect Notes. Wednesday, May 13, 2009. VMware Cold Cloning Windows 2000 Server Issue. Recently while trying to cold clone a W2K server I ran into several issues. After the cold clone was finished and I started up the server I was getting a blue screen “Stop 0x0000001e error message” . To fix, install the following hotfix on the W2k server . It puts a different version on the scsiport.sys file on there. Did the trick for me. Http:/ support.microsoft.com/kb/904374. VMware P2V NIC Problems.
