Blog By Youngsy: Ident 1 Animation
http://youngsy69.blogspot.com/2009/05/ident-1-animation.html
Friday, 8 May 2009. The chicken was animated 1 piece at a time to look at the camera and wiggle its bum, I done this by using the timeline, set keys and the move tool. I animated both halves of the egg to fall out of the chickens bum and into the tubes and follow the pipes then drop and hit the splitter, I then used the set keys to edit the animation of each of the halves of the egg separately,. CameraI used 2 camera paths in this ident to get the camera to go where I wanted it and the direction of the c...

Blog By Youngsy: Soup In The Jug
http://youngsy69.blogspot.com/2009/05/soup-in-jug.html
Friday, 8 May 2009. Soup In The Jug. I wanted to create something that looked like soup to go in the jug then to be poured into the bowl, this is how i did it. To create the soup in the jug I created a sphere and added a map to it to make it look like tomato soup, I got this map from - http:/ www.lps.org/busaff/nutrition/ftp/FoodPics/Tomato Soup.jpg. I then used the set key and animated the sphere flattening as the jug is being poured using the scale tool. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

http://youngsy69.blogspot.com/2009/05/mental-ray-lighting.html
Friday, 8 May 2009. I followed a video tutorial to learn how to use Mental ray lighting,. As before I used a scene from last semester, opened up the rendering window, and assigned ‘mental ray renderer’ as the production render as before. I dragged out a spot light onto the scene and positioned it over the Easter eggs, and also i turned on shadows,. Here is a shot of the scene with the spot light in. Here is a shot of the rendered image using the ‘mr Area Spot’. As I found out this gives a lot more in-dep...

Blog By Youngsy: Camera Shaders
http://youngsy69.blogspot.com/2009/05/camera-shaders.html
Friday, 8 May 2009. This week I played around with camera shaders by using a video tutorial given to me by Jo. Firstly I played around with ‘lens’ camera shaders, to do this I opened a scene I created last semester as a test scene, I then opened the render setup window,. I then opened the render tab in the same window, then scrolled down to the ‘camera shaders’ part of the ‘camera effects’ section. I then rendered the scene with the camera shader applied. I then went on to exploring the other camera shad...

http://youngsy69.blogspot.com/2009/05/ident-3-rising-cake.html
Friday, 8 May 2009. Ident 3 Rising Cake. For this scene I used the same environment as scene 2, the walls, floor, center console and the biped. I made the oven by using boxes and Boolean tool to create a hole in the center console then used boxes for the oven door and oven tray. I used extruded text on the oven and cylinders as knobs with a small sphere as the marker on the knobs, I also added the same map to the oven as the hob has. Http:/ www.dkimages.com/discover/previews/819/374897.JPG. The camera in...

Blog By Youngsy: Pouring The Soup And Filling The Bowl
http://youngsy69.blogspot.com/2009/05/pouring-soup-and-filling-bowl.html
Friday, 8 May 2009. Pouring The Soup And Filling The Bowl. I used the blobmesh I created earlier in this scene to portray the soup being poured from the jug into the bowl. I created the blobmesh using as tutorial, see above to see how I created it. As I had created the particle systems already all I had to do was position it in my scene and change the settings of when I wanted it to start and stop, how long I wanted the flow on for and how far the flow will go. I also added the soup material to it. Jo 3d...

Friday, 8 May 2009. Mood board one is a range of general ideas, images and thoughts I get from hearing the channel ‘UKTV Food’ and the sorts of things that I relate to this channel,. The second mood board is to represent the scene where the egg rolls down the pipes and splits into the pan, this mood board shows some of the things I want to include in the scene and some textures and ideas of where I go them from. Blog By Youngsy: The Chef and the croutons
http://youngsy69.blogspot.com/2009/05/chef-and-croutons.html
Friday, 8 May 2009. The Chef and the croutons. Once I had created the crouton, I then needed to add a few of them into the bowl and animate them to make the look like they are being poured out into the soup. To do this I cloned the crouton a few times and placed them into the bowl, I then animated them to follow the bowl when the bowl was being picked up and passed over,. I then animated them falling out of the bowl into the soup using the set key,. Adding a camera to the scene:. Links I Found Useful.
