How many times I misunderstand people and things, how I am misunderstood, and how I can sometimes misunderstand Gods direction. Usually that is because I dont take the time to stop and really listen to what its being said. I don’t get the whole story or just take someones word for it. What kind of message am I sending?

As I was driving today the song ‘Christmas Shoes’ came on and I closely listened to the words. There is a line that goes: ‘I want her to look beautiful, if momma meets Jesus tonight.’. I immediately began thinking about what I would ‘be wearing’ or look like if I met Jesus in heaven tonight. Would I be dressed just to look good? Would I be wearing my pj’s?
