Friday, May 23, 2008. Scotty hits 37 years on May 25th! We have only known Scotty a few of those years but are so happy to have him in our lives! Steve took Scotty out to Tucanos for the birthday bash and they had a blast! They rolled in the door afterwards stuffed with Brazilian meat and happy as ever. Tuesday, March 24, 2009. Scotty went with Steve and Kirsten last weekend to Moab to support them in running the half-marathon. We had a blast! The funniest part was that we could only find a hotel room with one King Bed so we all snuggled up together on the bed! We didn't get a picture, but will re-enact it soon so we can snap one. This is what Scotty did while Steve and Kirsten were running . . . rockin' out to the drag queens. He couldn't have been happier :). Steve joined in after the run.

Wednesday, June 4, 2008. Scotty did a GREAT job at the Special Olympics this year. He competed in the 50 and 25 meter dashes as well as the Softball throw. Here he is being awarded the silver medal for the 50 meter dash. His time in this event was a personal best! The 50 meter dash. Scotty was so happy to have his family there to cheer him on. Softball Throw- 4th place! Darin made it just in time to see Scotty receive the Bronze medal in the 25 meter dash! Kissing Josh Filmore's head!

Saturday, February 27, 2010. Celina is one of my very best friends here in Durham, NC. She has been my visiting teaching companion for the past 2 years, my boys absolutely LOVE her (pretty much their second mom) and she has been huge blessing in my life. Saturday, May 29, 2010. Oh the joys of summer! Welcome to my fridge). I ran to Target to get a very small pack of pull-ups (Jack is almost 100% dry through the night, but not quite) and they had watermelon on sale for $2.99. ANY SIZE! So, I couldn't resist. The boys devoured the watermelon. until we realized we were sitting right by an ant hill. We got attacked and quickly ran inside and threw the boys in the tub! We got our flat, $1.35/lb.
