An Event for Family and Friends to Share Hope after the Loss of a Child. Walk Raises Millions for Babies. 8212; Shelby Star article. The day after Scouting for Hope, The Cleveland County March for Babies is being held at the Shelby City Park. This year’s event is expected to raise over $18,000 and have 350 walkers come together to raise money and awareness for the March of Dimes so that one day, all babies will be born healthy and on time. Thursday, July 22, 2010. I live in an apartment building that isn't terribly old, but it's at that stage where it's settling into its bones, so that things have a tendency to crack here and there. For example, during my first week here, I was sitting in the living room reading when I heard a loud POP! At the end of long work days, I enjoy an evening spent lost in a book filled with beautiful and/or snarky words, and on this particular night I was on my back porch enjoying this one. It's like word candy!
