Sunday, August 7, 2011. Madison's Sleeping Dragon Cake. I was lucky enough to be asked to make another cake for Madison this year, who was turning 9 this week. Last year Madison chose the Enchanted Tree Cake. For her 8th birthday. Madison consulted the Debbie Brown "Enchanted Fairytale Book" again and chose the Sleeping Dragon cake. Saturday, September 10, 2011. Mini Sponge Cake Parfaits. This morning I had some time to myself and instead of tackling the housework and ironing, I decided to whip up some mini sponge cake parfaits. I made my usual easy sponge cake, coloured it a pretty pink, whipped up some fresh cream and chopped up some yummy strawberries. This is the result! These little desserts are so easy to make and look really pretty. A similar version will feature on a dessert table I am planning very soon. Have a nice week end.

Thursday, September 29, 2011. I have often seen pannacotta featured on menu's when dining out and have never actually tried it. There is always something chocolaty that catches my eye. Recently Leanne from Sweet Style. Has used pannacotta in little glass pots on dessert tables that she has created. Yesterday she shared the recipe on her blog.
