Team Cheniae!: May 2010
http://teamcheniae.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 26, 2010. So, on May 12th I decided to take on a challenge that a couple of people in my family have recently decided to do. Basically the challenge is to "create" something every day for 1 year. For example, my mother is making a card every day for 1 year, and so far they are AMAZING. My aunt Susan has created a wonderful daily dose of Happy Thoughts. Here are a few pictures of my progress so far. This is a little painting for Amelia's baby! Wednesday, May 19, 2010. I don't actually know ...

Team Cheniae!: January 2012
http://teamcheniae.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 21, 2012. Well this is a little late, but as you can imagine things have been a little busy around here! Lucas Michael Cheniae made his debut on Christmas Eve- 12/24/2011 at 9:32pm. He was 7 pounds 7 ounces, 20.5 inches long and has a full head of bright blonde hair! We are just over joyed and amazed by him every day! Getting him here was certainly not an easy task. At that point I said "Epidural Please! With 3cm still to go, shaking uncontrollably from fever, and having been in labor f...

Team Cheniae!: October 2010
http://teamcheniae.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 26, 2010. Today I realized that I have been off my medication for 9 months. That is just CRAZY people! In general I am doing really really well. Of course I have bad days and sometimes a bad week.or two. But as long as I pay attention to myself and keep Chris informed of how I am doing, together we are able to keep everything in check. Chris and I are doing good. We love our new house and neighborhood and we feel so blessed with everything that we have! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Ethere...

Team Cheniae!: July 2010
http://teamcheniae.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 20, 2010. House-y, house house. Move-y, move move. We signed closing documents today and it should fund and close TOMORROW! We are so excited! I am still in some shock that all of this has happened so quickly! The boys seem to be doing pretty well dealing with all of the boxes and commotion, they just pee on a box or two here and there. I suppose if you're a dog, when in doubt.pee on it. I sure hope they like the new place! Not to mention a baby shower for a very pregnant Amelia! It was esp...

Team Cheniae!: November 2011
http://teamcheniae.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 16, 2011. Baby Shower and Nursery. Well, after some gentle prodding (thanks Dad) it's time for a new post! Just a warning, this post will have a lot of pictures! I had an absolutely amazing baby shower on the 5th. My sisters Abi and Sara and my wonderful Mother Lisa and Mother-In Law Pat put together such adorable decorations, great food and fun games! We definitely missed my sister Amelia, who couldn't make it out from D.C. but she was there in spirit! The infamous frog, thanks Sara.

Team Cheniae!: June 2010
http://teamcheniae.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 24, 2010. Well, we found a house and our offer was accepted! This happened MUCH faster than we anticipated, but we have a wonderful Realtor who was able to help us narrow it down and find just the right house in just the right neighborhood! It's a traditional sale (not a short sale or bank owned) so it should move pretty quickly. Right now we expect to close around the 28th of July, but hopefully we can close a little sooner than that. This is a listing picture). For those wondering what s...

Team Cheniae!: 27 weeks and growing....though a little too slowly
http://teamcheniae.blogspot.com/2011/09/27-weeks-and-growingthough-little-too.html
Thursday, September 29, 2011. 27 weeks and growing.though a little too slowly. Well, here we are on the precipice of the dreaded 3rd trimester! I have been feeling generally good, with some aches and pains here and there but now things are starting to get a little cramped in there! I have been getting quite nervous about how big this belly is going to get and how on earth I will manage! But, women have been doing it for a bazillion years, so I will somehow pull through. I think it was designed that way.

Team Cheniae!: August 2011
http://teamcheniae.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 3, 2011. So last week when we had our ultrasound, the baby was not cooperating and didn't offer a satisfactory view of the heart. So they asked me to come back this week. For some reason, I had not been fully convinced that what I saw on the first ultrasound was really a girl so I asked them to check again. Sure enough, this one showed what clearly looks like boy parts! The baby was in a very different position this time so I am assuming that is what made the difference?
