Laurane's Glitter and Gloss. A tentative step into the world of crafty blogging. Sunday, 25 May 2014. The challenge this month at Clarity is All about the Words and I decided to use the 'Kiss of the Sun for Pardon' as the focus for my card. I used the birdhouse set for my garden setting and inked up with soothing sunset Big and Juicy for the flowers, butterscotch adirondack for the sky and meadow for the branches. 26 May 2014 at 09:59. I love this Laurane -beautiful card. 27 May 2014 at 23:00. Challenge ...

Laurane's Glitter and Gloss: Same stamps - different looks
http://lauranesglitterandgloss.blogspot.com/2014/05/same-stamps-different-looks.html
Laurane's Glitter and Gloss. A tentative step into the world of crafty blogging. Saturday, 24 May 2014. Same stamps - different looks. I love using Clarity Stamps and I've done a couple of different card using the same stamps. That's one of the things I love about stamping - you can get such different looks just by changing colours and backgrounds. A bit of ribbon, some more layering and job done. I was pleased with both these cards although I think the second is my favourite. View my complete profile.

Wednesday, June 18, 2014. Becoming A Fairy Godmother. So I am pretty excited. Actually, I think excited might not even begin to cover what I am feeling. My boyfriend and I were asked to be Godparents and it was such an honor to be asked! I wrote about my boyfriend's best friend Tony from Australia when he last came to visit. He brought his babies for their christening and I totally fell in love. Well, they have had another little girl. Her name is Isabella and she is now my goddaughter! Seriously though,...

Cards by Mee Chelle: March 2015
http://cardsbymeechelle.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 9, 2015. Blue Skies and Sunshine, Guaranteed. For my next Thank You card, I wanted to stick with the same bright and cheerful look. I still had some of that lace from my last card so I decided to use it again in a different way. The patterned paper is from a My Mind's Eye pack that I have and I just partnered it with a matching solid color. I made the center cut from my Elegant Edges cartridge. Is it spring time yet? Monday, December 30, 2013. Catching Penguins in 2013. Here is a card I made for a managing editor at work who taught a class I took this semester on Children's Publishing. I learned a lot and he was such a nice and interesting teacher. I knew I wanted to incorporate a penguin in the card since we both work for Penguin Random House. I found this adorable penguin stamp at Michael's and I colored it with the few Copics I have. N-1- Neutral Gray No.1. Friday, December 27, 2013. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Wednesday, July 10, 2013. DIY Project: Creating Wedding Invitation Shells. Today's post is a labor of love that I am very proud of! When Gale approached me for help with the wedding invites, I was thrilled. Of course I would help! And to his credit, Andrew stuck it out with us girls like a trooper! Never complaining, he diligently did every job given to him. Even if they were quite simple. haha. I was first on the assembly line, measuring and cutting the paper. I must say, we worked all afternoon and mad...
