Mar 30, 2012. I love the papers I chose for this layout! The blue wood grain looks like swirling water and the green polka dots could pass as crocodile skin. It's almost like I planned it that way. To be honest I didn't really. I picked the blue wood grain because it looked like water but the green polka dot was pure coincidence. I love it when that happens! To add some fun to my layout I went a little bananas with buttons! Aren't they fun looking? It was just so cute, I couldn't resist it! Mar 28, 2012.

Oct 22, 2012. I love large circles! I'm not really sure why? I find them a great way to add a little background interest to my layouts. Usually I take a kitchen plate and trace it onto a sheet of 12x12 patterned paper and then cut it out with my scissors. Simple and easy! Apr 30, 2012. In the Church Garden. I'm loving the look of Doillies right now. I picked up a couple of different sized ones at the local dollar store. It's amazing what you kind find in there when you have 45 minutes to kill while waiting for an appointment! Aug 28, 2012. I love this layout! I know I say that a lot but I do! The first reason I love this layout is because it is all done using scrap pieces that were left over from other layouts. Because this layout uses a block design it was easy to crop my pieces to work within the blocks. It saved me tonnes of time and the cost of more patterned paper. And best thing is I bet you wouldn't guessed it was done with scraps! I might just have to pay more attention to postcards when I visit places from now on!

Wednesday, October 17, 2012. A psycho in love. Tonight I finally got my grubby paws on some Cinder and Sage. Jewellery that I ordered and had my sister pick up for me. ( My instagram photo doesn't do the pieces justice so make sure you go check out the page. In case you don't remember a while ago I lost one of my favourite custom-made pieces and I was in tears and hysteria until I found it 3 hours later. It was ridiculous. I was acting like a 3 year-old. Thursday, October 18, 2012. It would make a sad tour. This is what is left. This is my scrapbook "room" (corner) tour. Not worth making a video, it was a stretch to even find 6 photos. And after seeing the rooms and rooms full of JUNK in all of those YouTube videos, I have never felt so proud in the culling of my hoard that took place. The thing is, my hoard had gotten so big that when it came time to use the red polka dot paper I bought 4 years ago, I couldn't even find it. So then, what's the point?
