Thursday, April 3, 2014. A canvas for hubby. A range of photos from our cattle, pets and GRASS! Just to show that sometimes grass can grow. (In the middle of a drought sometimes you doubt the ability of the land to ever grow grass again.). I saw this scrapbook layout on pinterest and wanted to try it for myself. I used the Big Shot to make the circles and I have used distress ink (walnut stain) to ink the edges of all the circles. More scrapbooking.Happy snaps from school trip! April 04, 2014.

Make the background sheet! You know the white pages that come with your scrapbook album, well I have used one of these sheets and splashed it with hot pink acrylic artist paints. (to make the paint splashable! I added water to the paint and made it rather runny. Take a paint brush and load up the runny paint then splash away! That is the fun bit! I finally finished my hungry caterpillar quilt for the lovely Lillie! Now just to get organised and post it. Victoria started work on her brow bands (for horses). Very fiddly but looking great!
