Not only is it heading towards the summer holidays but its also a month of events like school sports day, parent sharing days and school trips and my son's birthday, and every year I agonise over the party bags. Which ones to buy, theme and what to put in them, so this year I made them. As it was his 7th birthday, I went with the theme super hero's, and a good friend lent me some stamps she had, that worked perfectly with the theme.

Friday, 19 June 2015. Its time for our Crop again tomorrow in Otley Village Hall, Suffolk. We always have refreshments including freshly homemade cakes, and a kit available to purchase if you would like. This month, the kit has been designed by Vanessa, and uses the new BoBunny Heritage papers, making it perfect for any genre. Hi, Carol with you today - Mothers Day is fast approaching so I thought I'd use up the rest of my Graphics 45 Time to Flourish paper and make a card with matching tag as my project today:-. So, starting with the card…. I used a pre-scored white card and covered it with Graphics 45 Time to Flourish - July paper. And edged with distress ink. Was then stamped with versafine black ink. I die cut a scroll a. Nd added some stickles. To add some sparkle. A flower,. Here is my LO.

Wednesday, 20 May 2015. Enjoy the little things. Using kaisercraft shine bright for this layout. I used the bumblebee 12x12 sheet as my background with a sheet of dark grey card stock. I painted some of the accetate with distress paint, but be aware the paint has effected some of the script, which I only realised when it was dry. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Monday, 18 May 2015. Fun in the Sushine. Yes, it's almost that time of year where we can start having fun in the sunshine again. Sunshine really does lift my mood. Maybe that's why I like creating bright, colourful and happy pages the best. This is one that I've made to share with you today using Bella BLVD - Simply Spring. As my brother is off to Australia for six weeks and I will have left for NZ by the time he gets back i thought i had better come and see him.as it will be the autumn before we see each other again. Arrived last night, having spent nearly 3 hours on the road for a journey that usually takes between 1 and 2 hours.if i didn't have to go over the dartford tunnel it would have been quicker.that is my excuse. A place for little updates! Saturday, 25 August 2012. Managed a little scrapping this week and have now done a few layouts from our holiday. The first layout is of the first day. It was raining but we didnt care. We put on our wellies and went to the Donkey Santuary. Matthew loved the animals and climbing around. Our first activity on the Isle of Wight! I have used gorgeous papers from Prima and the word strips from Simple Stories, plus some printed out butterflies from Swirlydoos. I used some bright gold acrylic paint and dry swiped edges and added lots of different colours of Stickles and scattered flat backed crystals around the page to finish it off.

Thursday, 6 August 2015. The next request was for a 50th Anniversary card and I was given a copy of their wedding photograph. The base is again an 8x8" card covered with cream bazzill the layered with gold mirri and more cream bazzill, the top layer I pricked around the edge too. The colours of the wedding were cream and lemon so I made a bow (Sue Wilson die) and some Roses (die-cut from another Sue Wilson set). These were layered with lots of fronds cut with cream and gold.
