That was such a long time ago, yet some days it feels like it occurred only last week. I went through some very tough times between 2010-2012, and even before that, but those years in particular were horrific. It got me thinking about how I got through it, and how it changed me. Sunday, June 22, 2014. Things a have been so great for me lately. I guess that's why I feel so discouraged when I have a bad day(or week). I had one recently. It sucked. I was blue and feeling sad. For more than a few days. And then I was disappointed in myself because I was sad and couldn't snap out of it. Because it's not my fault that I feel sad every now and then. Throw in a couple of nights where I don't sleep and it results in a few miserable days. Yeah, me neither). I'd kill for that much sleep!

Sunday, December 28, 2014. Yesterday we took the dogs down to a beach in Pacifica to watch the sun set. It was so beautiful. I took about a hundred pictures. I tried to narrow them down but I didn't really. Sorry. Great ending to a wonderful day. Having a blast in San Fran, as usual. Thought I would put a few pictures up because I know I'll forget later. I was fortunate enough to get seven days off of work, and we headed up on the 23rd at four am(yawn). Cute little owl tea infuser and kitchen timer.

Friday, January 02, 2015. Ok, every person I know who does not live in CA and regularly gets heaps of snow every winter are going to laugh their asses off at this post and will probably stop reading after a few photos. So this is for the rest of you. I stopped at the store to pick up a few things and then was on my way. All day long at work I proclaimed how much I wished it would snow, even though it would only be a few snow flurries in the middle of the night. That's what we were expecting: snow flurries.

Tuesday, July 29, 2014. Lily had such a fun birthday party. She was so excited and had been counting down the days. We decided to do a Build-A-Bear party and it was a big hit with her and her sweet friends. As an added surprise, Snow White showed up! I had set it up before hand, and as expected, Lily was thrilled. They told her a special guest was arriving, handed her a bell and told her to ring it, and out walked Snow White. For my princess loving girl, she was over the moon! My beautiful 5 year old.

Monday, July 27, 2015. Life is too busy but I must update this blog! I have so much to post.trips to Florida, visits from family, birthday parties and summer vacation. I am going to start with our trip to Florida in June. It was so much fun! We spent 4 days in Orlando, and of course did Disney. We also spent 4 days on Siesta Key and Lily got to spend time with her cousins. Her biggest brother was home from Toronto and traveled with us, which made the trip extra special :).
