Now, you can tell, by the way that I am not in prison or a court-mandated anger management program, that this doesn’t mean that I can’t knit at all. I can, and am, thank goodness, but it’s slowed me down a terrific amount. I’m off to try the spinning wheel. Maybe that’s the answer. This entry was posted in Uncategorized.

Life Reflections: April 2014

Tuesday, April 29, 2014. The Lazarus Experiment Day 10. For most of us, the Lazarus account is a very profound analogy of our new lives in Christ Jesus. Hardly any of us have really been brought back to life after four days of being dead. (If you have, I'd like to come and talk to you! I know I haven't. So I can only begin to imagine Lazarus' reactions and emotions. How did he feel when he heard his name? What was his reaction to being loosed from the strips of cloth that held him tight? That look is pow...

Life Reflections: April 2012

Wednesday, April 18, 2012. With the Faith of a Child. Have you ever noticed how children are just accepting? Matthew 18:2-4 says, "2 He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. 3 And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.". Does that mean we don't have an obligation to make good choices? I have to la...

I'm hyper, therefore I craft: One word
http://zuzusunshine.blogspot.com/2013/02/one-word.html
I'm hyper, therefore I craft. It wasn't until college that I realized that yes, I'm hyper. (Not a surprise to those who know me, but somehow, it managed to startle me.) Since then, I have made a point of always keeping my hands busy with something, most recently knitting. These are my adventures. Wednesday, February 6, 2013. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Life Reflections: Day 15 - 21 The Lazarus Experiment 2015

Friday, May 15, 2015. Day 15 - 21 The Lazarus Experiment 2015. Space The final frontier. I'm not talking about a trek to the stars. I'm talking about the space in your clock; in your calendar; in your day. It's the final frontier because everybody seems unfamiliar with the territory and afraid to go there. Those who do go there are labeled as lazy or crazy. You are overbooked. Overstressed. Over-planned. Over-scheduled. Overdone. Lazarus would have tossed his watch and his calendar in the Dead Sea. When ...

Life Reflections: November 2009
http://theuntamedscrapper.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 30, 2009. What a blessed life I have! It's been quite a while since posting last but what a month and a half I've had. In many ways it has been a most difficult time, a scary time, a rough time and a wonderful time. It's had it's ups and downs and in betweens. Most of all, I have realized how lucky we are and how blessed we are. We got through election day where fortunately Virginian's are starting to wake up. Sorry about the poor quality, but these were all from a phone. When Reaves...

Life Reflections: July 2009
http://theuntamedscrapper.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 15, 2009. It's been a nutty summer to be sure! We've been to scout camp, Vacation Bible School and home home home. We've been sick, well, happy and busy. Both boys are working at Sonic again, their schedules are hectic and opposite and getting my oldest from work at 1am is crazy. We do what we must, eh? Of course, like a good mommy, I've got all the pictures to prove it all, including his two "badges of honor" boo boos, obligatory of a successful learning adventure on two wheels. Tweet wi...

Get your hook on. Pulling one loop through another any way I can. Laquo; Scenes from a walk. October 10, 2007 by kathymarie. The Log Cabin Kureyon Blanket is complete and I am in LOVE! The blanket is definitely a one-person blanket, perfectly sized for me at about 68″ long (maybe shorter… I’m about 65″ to 66″ tall) and probably about 45″ wide (? I haven’t measured it, I just know it fits. None I mean, my own. I improvised on the Log Cabin pattern in Mason Dixon Knitting. 8216; blog pushed me over the edge.
