Thursday, October 2, 2014. 1 October, 2014 - to Pensacola. At one point, to continue through the area, we had to either backtrack a ways or take a hand operated ferry across the bayou. We watched a class of schoolgirls do it first and then I did it by myself to take us across. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Bob and Ronda in Eden - Aug 2011. 11October...

Huffaker Happenings: Really, I'm a Quilter?
http://huffakerhappenings.blogspot.com/2011/10/really-im-quilter.html
Saturday, October 22, 2011. Really, I'm a Quilter? I do not consider myself a quilter. No, I'm a dance teacher. That's what I am. Yes, I've always enjoyed sewing, cooking, fun physical activities, but a quilter? No, not me. But the thing is, I keep making quilts! To look at some earlier quilts. Some are memory quilts made from my mom's stash of fabric. Here's some of the latest quilts. As you can see, this one is for Molly Barainca. This quilt is named "Bzzy-Bee". This quilt turned out so awesome! So, my...

He always makes sure he's showered, smellin' good, lookin' good every day. He really loves his new ipod touch. How great is that! He loves to play and he had fun playing with Duke. FOX: This kid loves to play too. He will entertain himself with two super hero characters and make up whole situations. He is a snuggle-...Subsc...

Huffaker Happenings: Quilting mania!
http://huffakerhappenings.blogspot.com/2009/12/quilting-mania_28.html
Monday, December 28, 2009. I never really thought of myself as a "quilter", but I guess. That's what I've come to be. I started out just making tied baby quilts for my new grand-babies, but since my neighbor of 22 years (who is THE quilting madam) has been mentoring me, I have increased my quilting skill level. Here's some pics of quilts I've made in the last few years. I always put names on the quilts for my grand-babies. Thank you Pam for wanting to hold on to those memories. January 7, 2010 at 11:58 AM.

Thursday, October 16, 2014. 16 October 2014 - Into Kansas. The window of the museum had a phrase on it from the Wizard of Oz story. I am not sure if the reflection of Ronda has any significance. I did try to get her to buy a T-shirt with the statement on it: "Life just has not been the same since that house fell on my sister." I could not conv...Inside th...

GARNER FAMILY BLOG: September 2010
http://garnerdaze.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 22, 2010. Grandpa and Grandma Rowe took us on an afternoon train ride through the Boise Mountains for Labor Day. The boys had a blast watching people rafting the river and kayaking. We even spotted a few animals. Some "Outlaws" robbed us and made a big scene during our ride! Thank goodness for Ethan and a few other junior rangers who didn't let them escape! It was such a fun day! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa! Tuesday, September 21, 2010. FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL! We love you Ethan! Chase an...

beachwalkerz: June 2013
http://beachwalkerz.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 13, 2013. My Concorde has become quite glitchy, to say the least. But we have kept her because she is the only vehicle we can use when we have guests (our other car is a two-door sports car that gives me claustrophobia to ride in the back seat of). It started with the blower motor fan. Which will blow hot or cold air faithfully. All the time. It never shuts off. Unless you pull the fuse. I stay one step ahead of this crazy car and just not activate the alarm! Another trip to a different me...
