Sunday, September 14, 2014. Maya is Turning 8! My sweet angel baby. . . Is still my sweet angel baby - but now she's turning eight! I took her to the Houston LDS Temple. She hopped and skipped around for awhile. It threatened thunderstorms all day, so I went a little early. It ended up being too hot. We had to take a dinner break and return closer to sunset. Sunday, September 22, 2013. The whole thing is held up with only 5 screws. First I painted the wall Herbal Mist, a fresh, clean laundry color. The wall is heavily textured, but I thought I did quite well despite the bumps. Not bad for my first try. My dad would be proud. I really wish I would have taken a before picture, but I was able to get all the kids crafts sorted into boxes by holiday, and have a little place for other crafting things and still have room for the laundry room stuff. I decided to use the Lego Playmat as the base for her Heartlake City and I just got a Ikea Lack Coffee table to put it on. I like that the bottom shelf can be used to store the miscellaneous stuff. Thursday, 13 August 2015. August week 2 - UKS weekly challenge. Hello and here is this weeks UKS Challenge - To use wave lines/edges, Summer/Hot/Orange and to use 10 of an embellishment. I have used the end of a MCS kit - unsure which month but the papers are from Blue Fern Studios - Love Story collection - these are gorgoeus, so thick and I stuggled to cut them up! And then finished off with a splattering of enamel dots. The title is a mixture of alphabets from American Craft Thickers and Websters Pages.
