This trip has been our family tradition for seven years - more summers than my youngest has been alive. This year we reminisced about his first trip, and he didn't remember the stories. When we got home, I dug out some photos from that year and put together a layout to capture these memories for him. On the kraft paper I used the ink pad directly on the paper.

This week's challenge was to create a monochromatic layout in the palette of green. Neutrals like black, white and brown are allowed, but everything else is green! Thursday, June 25, 2015. June Sewing Day 2015. Peg you did it again! Another over the top Quilting Day. She took us to Hawaii! Peg thought of everything, even down to the Hawaiian Shirt note pads. Peg started our Show and Tell with her striking Patriotic Quilt made from leftover fabric that was cut off of half square triangles. Kathee shows a quilt that was in some of her Grandmother's things. She wanted some advice on how to finish this quilt. Trying out a new pattern. Next time more color contrast.
