ScrapThat: August 2016
http://scrapthatstacie.blogspot.com/2016_08_01_archive.html
Playing around with paper. Wednesday, August 24, 2016. Today I wanted to use a Paper PoP on a layout for a Paper Issues challenge. I loved this bright, happy picture of our day at Bunker Beach waterpark. This older Simple Stories Good Day Sunshine collection worked well to capture all the colors! The sun paperPoP was purchased at Paper Issues. I cut out the title with the Open Letters cut file. I used white paint on a circles stencil to create a photo mat on the background. Playing around with paper. Sunday, January 1, 2017. A Winter Quote to Love. I can't believe it's already here! Today we are full of surprises and new things at Paper Issues. I am playing along with the new challenge based off of this quote for the month. Take inspiration from any of the words, the colors, the snowflakes, etc. I made it super easy and found the exact quote on the Simple Stories Winter Wonderland paper. I love all of the design pieces included with the Simple Stories Winter Wonerland.

Playing around with paper. Wednesday, January 11, 2017. Spotlight is on Pebbles My Funny Valentine. So he gave me the gift of this punny picture which goes perfectly with this Pebbles line! I added gesso and gelatos to blend out the title section of the background with layers of pinks and red to help the adorable heart Thickers. Pop off of the background. Those scattered hearts are so adorable on these "Ella" Thickers! The mini alpha were on an AC remarks sticker sheet. Are also a win! Thanks for looking...

Scrap That Poetry Poem
Scrap That Poetry Poem. Thursday, May 5, 2011. I Love to Be a Mother #40. I Love To Be a Mother. Some houses try to hide the fact. That children shelter there. Ours boasts of it quite openly,. The signs are everywhere. For smears are on the windows,. Little smudges on the doors,. I should apologize, I guess,. For toys strewn on the floor. But I sat down with the children. And we played and laughed and read;. And if the doorbell doesn't shine,. Their eyes will shine instead. The one job or the other;.

Scrap that song
Tuesday, January 15, 2013. It is a hard thing to say and even harder to have to do but due to a lack of interest in this blog it has been decided that it will cease posting and challenges. We feel that the idea for here is great so perhaps a bit of a hiatus may be what is needed, who knows, and then perhaps we can see if interest can again be reignited. On behalf of the Creative team and myself I would like to thanks everyone who has participated in our past challenges, we appreciate your contribution.

Scrap That Thought
Wednesday, June 27, 2012. Out With the Old, and In With the New. 100% Made with my stash. No new product was harmed in the making of this layout. It's occurred to me that the whole scrapbooking world is about getting the latest product, and collecting it. If you use it, great, otherwise, you have to go out and get some more new product. The latest and the greatest. Then, of course. we are left with a ton of unused OLDER product! They've done what the software industry has done! That took me aback! I dug ...
