Which in turn makes me happy. She listens to all kinds of music. This past Christmas I bought her an MP3 player and it was such a wonderful investment. She listens to that thing all the time. Friday, January 31, 2014. Hello, Hello, Hello. My niece Olivia turned 6 in December. A week before Christmas. Every year, when Ava or my nieces and nephews get another year older, I sit in wonder of where the last year has gone. It goes by so quickly. This Christmas we made Gingerbread Houses with Ava and my niece and let's just say all was going fine until my niece's gingerbread house collapsed and wouldn't stay together! The photo below seriously makes me giggle every time I see it. Hello, Hello, Hello.

This week Ava and I both celebrated our birthdays. Ava's was on Tuesday and mine was Wednesday. Well last night Ava has cheer practice. While she was gone, I decided I'd take a short nap after having been up since 3:30 am It is a nap that actually turned into quite a gift for me and a nap I am glad I took.

Thursday, August 21, 2014. 1st Day of School.Yesterday! A new school year has officially started for us. Yesterday was Ava's first day of 4th Grade. Customary 1st Day of School Photo.
