Col's Tanks

Tuesday, 11 August 2015. Or a Mashup of Miscellanea! First up, been a bit slow with the blog posts of late. I have been working on a secret project for a Mate of mine. Can't reveal it yet as I think he may look at my Blog now and again. Anyway, I managed to acquire another of the New Ray WW1 planes for my meagre WW1 Aircraft collection. The Fokker DVII. As I reviewed these models in an earlier post New Ray Aircraft Kits. Just need the Spad! Two books next, the first, One Hour Wargames by Neil Thomas.

Sunday, 30 August 2015. I've got Spurs that Jingle, Jangle, Jingle! There would not be too many (older) people that did not have these figures growing up. Col's Tanks : All the people round here are too bony for kissing!

http://scratchbuiltarmour.blogspot.com/2015/05/all-people-round-here-are-too-bony-for.html

Tuesday, 19 May 2015. All the people round here are too bony for kissing! One of my painting projects has finally come to fruition. I present my "Skeleton Horde" or "The Warriors of the Golden Ankh" as they preferred to be known. The skeletons were sourced from Toysmith's Battling Pirates vs Skeletons packs. The Pirates are a bit small and decidedly underfed, but the skeletons scale well for 54 mm. Once they had been cleaned up and any flash lines removed, they were washed and allowed to dry thoroughly.
