Wednesday, June 24, 2015. Life’s real Uber 24.06.2015. As I got to Corlett Drive I pulled out my Tom Thumb to flag a lift. A car pulled up filled with a trio. ‘You need a lift? 8217; ‘Yip’ I said. ‘Jump in’. Settled in, greetings ensued and we were off. ‘Dude, it’s not dangerous jumping into stranger’s cars? Responding with a skewed mouth, confused I said, ‘uhm, and it’s not dangerous picking up strange people? How do some of us get it and others just keep wondering when it’s going to come? Just another WordPress.com site. Scratchings On The Page. OK, so we’ve jumped into Animal Farm. How are we liking it? Which is the animal your heart resonates with? The horse that spent his life doing donkey work that Benjamin felt was too beneath him? Well, Boxer felt good about his contribution (straight from the horse’s mouth) so there’s no need to feel sorry that he died on the job, from hunger and overwork probably while the pigs ate like horses. Or perhaps Snowball, the maligned porker? If you have...

Daisy and Her Panniers? Who’s Scratching the Itch? Cycling solo around New Zealand. What to do next? April 4, 2017. Views along the Alps to Ocean. We spent a couple of days driving up the coast towards Dunedin. Stopping at Nugget point and Surat Bay which was brilliant as we got to see some Sea Lions. I kept missing them so you’d be casually walking along and suddenly what you thought was a log would poke its head up and say hello! They was amazing to see and the walk along the beach was very nice as well.
