Soooo $59 for what I allegedly used, plus another hundred-something for fuel adjustment? That doesn't even make sense. More importantly, my Entergy friend could probably have seen in my file that our house has a DIGITAL METER. That means if there is no power I CAN'T READ IT. Posted by Nola @ 1:47 PM. Rebuilding our home in New Orleans. Wednesday, August 31, 2005. We evacuated New Orleans on Saturday to stay with our friends in Baton Rouge. We brought both cars, the pets, some essentials for the baby and a change of clothes for each of us. We didn't expect the storm to be as bad as it was so we didn't really bring much with us, but that is probably just as well as the important thing was to get out of the city quickly. Rebuilding our home in New Orleans. Sunday, November 20, 2005. Sorry I haven't posted, I've been dead inside. About 3 and a half weeks ago I reported that we were about to get a FEMA trailer. Will anybody be shocked to hear that we do not yet have said trailer? Not likely. FEMA has good intentions, and even a lot of money. Just not much for organization. Here is the story thus far:.
