Vanishing Veggie: Hawaii Honeymoon: Eating Vegan on Oahu
http://www.vanishingveggie.com/2015/08/hawaii-honeymoon-eating-vegan-on-oahu.html
Tales of Tasty Meals and Other Musings. Wednesday, August 5, 2015. Hawaii Honeymoon: Eating Vegan on Oahu. Honolulu has so much amazing food, and we enjoyed every bite! It was really easy to find vegan options pretty much anywhere. We got up every morning, and I would google around, looking at menus and other blogs for inspiration on where our tummies would take us that day. Here is a list of all the amazing food we had on Oahu. If you find yourself on Waikiki Beach, do not miss this! It was tucked in an...

Tales of Tasty Meals and Other Musings. Friday, July 31, 2015. Vegan Food at the Bernice Garden. Way back at the end of June, I told you guys about the Very Veggie Fourth of July. Event at the Bernice Garden. On the first night of my break from work and start of my honeymoon, I headed down to SoMa with my friends, Reva and Waikay, to eat some great food. The turnout was great, and it looked like most of the vendors sold out. I got there about midway through the event, and Solfood Catering. A new food car...

Tales of Tasty Meals and Other Musings. Tuesday, August 4, 2015. Hawaii Honeymoon: Eating Vegan While Traveling. Oh Airports. sometimes they are bursting with great food options, and other times, not so much (I'm looking at you, La Guardia! Usually, I travel with tons of snacks (cliff bars, nuts, etc), but we went to Hawaii pretty light. I did have a stash of mini vegan bars in my back pack just in case, but we had a decent time flying. I knew Real Food Daily. This kept me full the 6 hour plane ride and ...
Vanishing Veggie: February 2015
http://www.vanishingveggie.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Tales of Tasty Meals and Other Musings. Friday, February 27, 2015. Another day, another mega food picture post. I feel like all I've been doing lately is eating. I guess it comes in cycles. We've been iced in a lot at home, but I've still managed to have some tasty meals out. This hot tea, steamed veggies, and crispy tofu lunch from Forbidden Garden. Really hit the spot. I'm a sucker for steamed broccoli, so I'm happy this dish is full of it. With corn tortillas. It's filling, healthy, and delicious.

Tales of Tasty Meals and Other Musings. Monday, August 10, 2015. Foodshed Farms CSA: Boxes 6, 7, 8 and 9. It's full blown summer here in Arkansas, complete with the heat index waaay. Over 100 degrees (F). Our CSA box has been bursting with goodies from all around the state, and we've been cooking up a storm. We've made gazpacho, summer salads, ratatouille, and more! The watermelon above was amazing. I turned it into a fresh summer salad, but more on that later. That's my goal for this week. Do you like t...

Vanishing Veggie: Vegan Eats Lately
http://www.vanishingveggie.com/2015/08/vegan-eats-lately.html
Tales of Tasty Meals and Other Musings. Friday, August 14, 2015. Are you guys ready for a mega food dump? I have been hoarding food photos since before Hawaii. So I wanted to share some eats and life lately. We kept our meals super simple before the honeymoon. That rice and chickpea dish was one of my favorites. This is me super excited about the trip! When I'm in need of a fresh lunch salad, I look no further than Izzy's. I love to modify their Greek salad by throwing black beans all over it. And I happ...
Vanishing Veggie: April 2015

Tales of Tasty Meals and Other Musings. Wednesday, April 29, 2015. Restaurant Review: Taco Mama. In Hot Springs pack a culinary punch all in the same parking lot. I have already reviewed Cafe 1217. Awhile back, but I'd never eaten at Taco Mama. Until recently. This husband and wife duo (wife runs 1217, husband Taco Mama) are really bringing the flavor in their restaurants, and I took the opportunity on a recent work trip to taste some fresh, Mexican flavors. Hot springs restaurant review. So I'm always o...

Tales of Tasty Meals and Other Musings. Monday, June 29, 2015. Summer Recipes for Abundant Veggies. I don't know about you guys, but summer is in full swing here in Arkansas. The negatives: we've had several days over 100 degrees. So much for going outside. The positives: farmers' markets and CSA boxes are bursting with veggies. With the Fourth of July just around the corner, I thought I'd share with you some of my favorite recipes for fresh cookout food! Farmers' Market Cucumber Salad. I recently spoke ...

Tips for the strategic and effective fundraiser. A simple approach to online fundraising from the very clever and cool AJ Leon. Fundraising is not all about Facebook, Twitter, blogs and websites. Want to see more? Australian Bush Poetry Association. Wednesday, 4 May 2016. SEND IN THE CLOWNS. This poem was written in response to this video clip which I found very moving -. Https:/ www.youtube.com/watch? SEND IN THE CLOWNS. Maureen Clifford © The #. World gone mad - and devastation everywhere around. The centre ring is empty - none to see. The carnival is over and the crowds are all long gone. And none left to recall festivity. The bright lights are all shattered, now a tangled mass of wires.

Friday, August 19, 2011. Yes, it does sometimes! This summer has been a disappointment, apart from the early bit so when the sun does come out, it's wise to make the most of it! Looking past the lifeguard hut towards St Ives. I adore these firey crocosmia, they set the hedgerows and moors ablaze! Friday, July 29, 2011. Vintage Board meet, Lusty Glaze. Looking across to Newquay from Lusty. Here's another Surfrider. Lovely. The british Museum of Surfing van was there with a goodly selection of nice boards.
