Friday, March 30, 2012. How would it be to go on a flight trip with your 3 year old kid? Believe me, it's fun. It was a very short trip - just 2 weeks. But I had plans that would take a month to complete. When we were about to land in Brussels, for about 45 mins, I had a severe pain in my ears and kept cursing the pilot. This paved way for introspecting my book reading habit, which has considerably dwindled down as I grew up. I would say I was a voracious reader in my childhood. But what my dad brought from his library was the only source of books. My exposure to books was too lil to foster my needs. Slowly I have almost stopped reading anything. Thursday, July 30, 2009. Rasam (How I prepare :-) ). An easy way to prepare Rasam powder. 2 cups red chili. 1 cup Toor dhal. 1 and 1/2 cup coriander seeds(dhaniya). Microwave all the above contents for 2 mins(or till you get the flavor). Prepare the tamarind extract (Take tamarind for the size of a lemon). Add two spoons of the Rasam powder. Add salt to taste. (Normally one tsp will be good). Let it boil for 5 mins. Add one tomato(cut into pieces). Let it boil for 10 mins. Till the tomato becomes soft).

When I drove back, my mind was thinking about three things,. 1 Would I have reacted the same way if I had seen the kid? May be I would have, Who knows how a person would react in case of emergency? 2 Will I be that resilient enough to put the kid back in the pool?
