Scripture Dwellers

Monday, February 8, 2010. As he approached Jerusalem and saw the city, he wept over it. Jesus weeping over the city of Jerusalem is very poignant and touching to me. He has been tested and tried by those who do not like the pronouncement that he is the King of Kings. Because he has not sought to fit in with the in crowd, his ministry has been challenged on every front. He has preached the gospel and on every hand there has been opposition. So he weeps. The people are rejoicing and saying “Bless...Are the...

Scripture Dwellers: Let's Take Off The Roof

http://scripturedwellers.blogspot.com/2010/02/paralyzed-no-more.html

Thursday, February 4, 2010. Let's Take Off The Roof. But not only is Jesus teaching. The power of God is present to heal. So, they moved away from the door and decided upon another strategy. “Let’s take off the roof. And then we can take our friend, our brother, our love one to Jesus that way.”. And that’s what they did. They took the tiles off of the roof and lowered the man on his bed through the crowd to right in front of Jesus. Yes. You might could call this a front row seat. Can you imagine that?

Sunday, January 31, 2010. They Fell Down And Worshipped Him. Today for my through the New Testament in 90 days selection I read. A section that stood out to me was:. Thought For The Day. How like the worship of the wise men is my worship? From where does my worship of Jesus originate? How does my worship reflect my knowledge of who God is? God, I pray that my worship will always originate in my recognition of who Jesus is and was even before the foundation of the earth. Posted by Min. Paulette.

Scripture Dwellers: FAMILY TREE

http://scripturedwellers.blogspot.com/2010/02/family-tree.html

Wednesday, February 3, 2010. As I navigated through the first three chapters of Matthew reading the genealogy of Jesus, I remembered in the year of 2006 when my sister and I embarked on an endeavor to research our family tree and produce a keepsake book for our family. Oh what an undertaking! Relatives. But if they would stop to take a real good look, they might see a family resemblance.you are the child of the King. You are a son or a daughter of God. What a great genealogy! Welcome to Scripture Dweller...

Scripture Doctrine -

Faith, wrote the author of Hebrews, is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1). The Importance of Faith. But without faith, wrote the author of Hebrews, it is impossible to please him [God]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
