Wednesday, November 04, 2009. It is great to be 8! Alex turned eight in October! We had her birthday party at an ice skating rink and arcade. I think that it is safe to say that everyone had fun. It was cold, but fun! On her actual birthday, she had a soccer game that morning (they won! And went had dinner at the Rainforest Cafe (her choice). She had a great day! Sunday, May 16, 2010. May 15, 2010 - We enjoyed a great day at Wrigley Field. We had great seats, decent weather for all nine innings, and the kids really liked the Build-a-Bear giveaway. Steve contemplated taking the three kids by himself, but I was able to cancel a prior appointment and join them - lucky for Steve, as it was pretty tough keeping track of the kids and cleaning up after the cotton candy free-for-all! At the hospital.Hubble was Mr. Mom that week while I was in the hospital. He did a great job balancing everything that was going on. Home on the Range. Monday, January 11, 2010. I have one more week until I'm scheduled for a C-section, but I've never made it that long. So every day, I wonder "will today be the day? Meanwhile, I'm trying to get a closet organized here and there and soak up time with my kiddos (I know in my after-baby haze, I won't be focused on that as much). Jonathan loves to do tricks and funny faces. This one is his favorite "cool trick" which he shows friends, home teachers, guests and anyone else who'll watch.
