Sunday, June 20, 2010. This statue depicts the pioneer handcarts and the kids stood up next to the little boy pushing the handcart to see if he was "their size". It was a good hands on experience. Aren't they a good looking bunch of modern pioneers? They all found a nice place to relax and watch the short LDS commercials. This is a replica of the carts used to haul the granite stones from the canyons to the East of Salt Lake that were used to build the Salt Lake Temple. Love, love, love history.

Elder Davis called us and adivsed us that all missionaries must go to border through immigration and come back into Swaziland to pay a $50 rand road tax otherwise the Swazi law requires a 14% tax on all cars not purchased in Swaziland. without the road tax receipt the mission vehicles are subject to impound by the Swazi govt.
