Samplings From Our Kitchens...

Samplings From Our Kitchens. Tuesday, January 26, 2010. I hope people like mexican food because this is my third post and I am seeing a pattern here. but I just got back from mutual where I showed my mia maids how to make enchiladas (which were sooo yummy! And because they turned out so good I thought I would share the recipe! So you do what you want with this recipe, make your enchiladas how you want, this is just the sauce. 1/2 tsp. salt. 1 can tomato soup. 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce. 2 T chili powder.

Samplings From Our Kitchens...: Mess up.

http://www.scrumdidilyuptious.blogspot.com/2009/09/mess-up.html

Samplings From Our Kitchens. Wednesday, September 2, 2009. So, I forgot to mention that I didn't use the full cup of oil. I did half oil and half applesauce. super moist, and super yummy. I want to make it again. I think that is all that I switched, unless already mentioned. Enjoy. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Samplings From Our Kitchens. Tuesday, September 15, 2009. Ok, so Hilary was brave enough to post a recipe once (or twice? But I bet we could all use some fresh ideas for meals. Am I right? Maybe I am the only one who makes the same 2 things over and over again. So, if you are already an author on this blog post some recipes! Samplings From Our Kitchens...: Chicken Enchilada Soup

http://www.scrumdidilyuptious.blogspot.com/2009/12/chicken-enchilada-soup.html

Samplings From Our Kitchens. Tuesday, December 8, 2009. 1 tbs vegetable oil. 1 lb chicken breasts. 1/2 c diced onion. 1 clove garlic, pressed (I use minced garlic). 4 c chicken broth. 1 c masa harina (mexican tortilla flour). 1 c enchilada sauce (I use medium but it's up to you how spicy you want it). 16 oz velveeta cheese, cubed. 1 tsp chili powder. 1/2 tsp. cumin. You can make this soup in the crockpot too, just give yourself more time as it takes longer for the cheese to melt and the soup to thicken.

Samplings From Our Kitchens...: Chicken salsa casserole

http://www.scrumdidilyuptious.blogspot.com/2009/12/chicken-salsa-casserole.html

Samplings From Our Kitchens. Wednesday, December 9, 2009. This is soo fast and easy, you'll love it! 1 can cream of chicken soup. 1 can cream of mushroom soup. 1 c sour cream. 1 lb cooked chicken (diced, shredded, whatever you want. I like to salt and pepper it, sometimes garlic salt too for a little extra flavor :). Layer: Flour tortilla, sauce, chicken, shredded cheese. Repeat layers. Bake 350 for 35 minutes, or heated all the way through and edges are bubbling. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Thursday, December 3, 2009. We stayed home this year for thanksgiving and had such a great day! My cousin Kristina and her husband Logan, and my brother Jeff, had also decided not to go anywhere for the break so we collaberated together and prepared a delicious dinner. It was wonderful! It's how we live. And we like it :). So here we are with our great meal around our little table! What we need is some comfy little throw pillows to sit on;). Jeff, Logan, and Parker getting ready for games. It caught my e...

Hanson Family: Easter

http://hansonfam3.blogspot.com/2010/05/easter.html

Tuesday, May 25, 2010. For Easter we got together with our friends, the Seiters for some traditional easter activities: an egg hunt, dyeing easter eggs and making sugar cookies! Parker and Avery are still a little too young to enjoy coloring eggs but they did catch on to the easter egg hunt pretty quick! Still, that only lasted so long before they were just chasing each other around and we had to encourage them to finish finding the eggs! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). As Sisters In Zion.

Hanson Family: May 2010

http://hansonfam3.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html

Tuesday, May 25, 2010. Parker is such a good helper when I'm babysitting but any. Chance he gets to climb into the baby's walker he's there! He thinks he's so funny when he gets in even though he. Knows he's not supposed too! But on this day he was too cute and I couldn't resist taking a picture before getting him out :). I left Parker in the bathroom to go get his clothes for after his bath and when I came back this was how I found him! He decided he couldn't wait to get in the tub and jumped right in!

Hanson Family: Christmas!

http://hansonfam3.blogspot.com/2009/12/christmas.html

Monday, December 28, 2009. I have more pictures to post from Christmas that I will add later but I just wanted to get this cute video up of Parker and Randy playing with the mega blocks Parker got from Santa. Parker LOVES these blocks! We've had a few good days now of Parker just playing with his new toys INSTEAD of getting into everything he's not supposed too. Great job, Santa! I love his laugh and Randy trying to out be quicker than him! We got a BUNCH of those for Christmas too! That is so cute!

Hanson Family: 18 months already? Are you sure?

http://hansonfam3.blogspot.com/2009/12/how-did-he-get-this-old.html

Monday, December 7, 2009. This handsome little man has started nursery! Not sure how I feel about it, I admit I was a little sad dropping him off but. It was nice to sit through sunday school without a squirmy kid! He on the other hand, could have cared less to be left. He found his friend Olivia and a bucket of cars and was set! I don't think he even knew what was going on! My little boy is growing up too fast :(. Tim, Laurel, and Olivia. December 8, 2009 at 8:07 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Monday, March 22, 2010. Just chillin' on a Sunday evening. Jeff came over for Sunday dinner and decided to play Family Fued while waiting to eat. Parker (who also likes to play FF) decided to throw himself down on the floor and play too! He's so funny when he "plays", when the big X comes up on the screen he shakes his head and says "noooo"! The other game Parker likes is the X-box. He's really in to football.and well, really any sport! We had a good laugh! Just had to get a picture of his feet! The firs...

scrumdiddlyumptious treats

A blog dedicated to my love of creating delightful and delicious treats. Monday, March 29, 2010. Along came a spider. The cupcakes are vanilla dyed a very halloween-y orange. Unfortunately this isn't super evident in the pictures. The icing is also vanilla dyed various colors to make the grey-purple base and the spiders. The cupcakes were certainly a hit with the ghosts and goblins. Sunday, March 28, 2010. A break from all things mini. The full size birthday cake. And from another angle. Do I make a clas...

Friday, September 28, 2012. Butterfinger candy bars, crushed. Mix together cream cheese, sour cream and sugar, add grapes stir gently. Put mixture into a 9 X 13 dish. Sprinkle top with crushed butterfingers then top off with crushed pecans. I know this sounds like a strange recipe but when everything comes together, the crispy grapes, the creamy cheese mixture and the sweet crunch of the candy it is so good! Try it you won't be sorry! 1 box each of Corn, Rice and Wheat chex. 1 bag of stick pretzels.
