Tuesday, June 27, 2006. Is it just me? Or are the clouds moody, too? Posted by Ptelea @ 9:16 PM. Saturday, June 24, 2006. First big hail storm of the season! I was up at the field taking photos of the dark sky when the storm began. I hurried home and then the hail began. Even with the windows closed, rain poured in the bow window due to overwhelmed gutters. It was a beautiful sight from the safety of our mostly waterproof home. Ahhh blessed humidity and blessed cool. Posted by Ptelea @ 11:46 PM. I have n...

Ask Aunt Aggie: People, people who need people...
http://betterthrupurple.blogspot.com/2005/08/people-people-who-need-people.html
People, people who need people. Do you think it's strange that some of my best friends are lights on a computer screen? How crazy is that? How pitiful, really? I belong to several other groups and in one, a person was banned. I miss the conversation with that person and the group seems flat, now. I'm new here, but there seems to be some interesting personalities. I'm not sure I even have a question. Just wanted to talk. How crazy is it that I'm answering a non-question? And after that balmly weekend we s...

Ask Aunt Aggie: Blueberry in the Ketchup
http://betterthrupurple.blogspot.com/2005/05/blueberry-in-ketchup.html
Blueberry in the Ketchup. Http:/ www.breakthechain.org/exclusives/aclucross.html. She tells everyone that she is a poet, and here is a page dedicated to her poem:. Http:/ www.alighthouse.com/pope.htm. She is not even catholic! Then today, she sent me a cute joke about a man who used the word penis as a password, and it was rejected because it was not long enough. She claimed that she also sent the joke to her preacher and that it wasn’t really dirty. OK, now my head is spinning. Blueberry in the ketchup.

Ask Aunt Aggie: Sex -- the woman's side...
http://betterthrupurple.blogspot.com/2005/09/sex-womans-side.html
Sex - the woman's side. I need some serious advice! So, so you have any words of wisdom? Isn't it strange how women are conditioned to feeling there Must Be More to a relationship before they'll consider having sex with a man - whereas most men will have sex with anything that strikes their fancy. And yes - I do mean, A-N-Y-T-H-I-N-G. This can't be stressed enough. Would you be comfortable (besides the squirming of doing something so radically different) and OK with that? If you aren't - don't merely put...

Ask Aunt Aggie: Why d'you think it's called "University"?
http://betterthrupurple.blogspot.com/2005/05/why-dyou-think-its-called-university.html
Why d'you think it's called "University"? Dear Aunt Aggie,. I really like all the wise advice I hear from you. I think it is good sound advice and I would like to apply them all. Or at least I think I should.I fear conforming to 'other peoples' standards. IF I made all the necessary changes to reach the stage of enlightened being that is being offered by so many schools of wisdom. Would I still be me? What of this small self with only one life to live? Who shall I let live it? Many Me of diversity. The U...

Pajama Library: November 2005

Wednesday, November 30, 2005. Contrary to the norm, I didn’t check. It seemed like the perfect balance of art and effort. As I sit here tonight searching for words to describe the feelings or state that I reach, a hymn from my childhood, Praise God, From Whom All Blessings Flow goes through my head. I am not of that religion but the. Blessings are flowing through me. Posted by Ptelea @ 10:12 PM. Tuesday, November 29, 2005. Top of the morning from Top of the World. Top of the world park’. Top of the world’.

Pajama Library: July 2006

Sunday, July 30, 2006. Remembering February 19, 2006. It has been so hot lately, upper 90’s everyday. When I was at Addenbrook Park yesterday, I couldn’t help but remember the times I have been at the lake on cold winter days. Even though it was cool yesterday morning (at 5:30 am) and the cool was amplified by the mist from the big sprinklers, memories of the frost-covered lake surface bring a sense of hope that we won’t always be this hot! Posted by Ptelea @ 10:14 PM. Saturday, July 29, 2006. He is SO m...

Pajama Library: April 2006
http://pajamalibrary.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 29, 2006. Walking a mile in someone else's shoes. I had the opportunity to see my work world from a different perspective. Although I spend some time collecting data in the field, most of my work time is spent in the office and in front of my computer or bent over a light table. When I was invited to spend a day on the Marias River in northern Montana, I jumped at the chance. I learned what it is like to spend time. Focus and then re-focus. Just trying to live life with passion! The hour ...
