At Home in the Upper Valley. Bull; September 28, 2012 • Poetry. Bull; 0 Comments. Sculpturefest is a yearly event in Woodstock VT. Every year to coincide with the Fall foliage season, sculptures and other artistic endeavors are showcased on this beautiful piece of land. This year there was a poetry reading that I was pleased to participate in. The exhibition continues through foliage season, dawn to dusk daily. If you venture out for a visit, be sure to see the work of my co-worker Dennis Grady.

After all, we cannot know what we are going to express. What is really creative is bound to be a surprise. Because it is something we couldn't have thought of. This is the thing that we resist the most. We want to. Know where we are going, why we are doing it, and what it is going to give to us. We want to know it all. To be creative means becoming more familiar with being a little lost. If we are always full of what we. Want to do, there is no room for the new."- Michell Cassou. At the Old Labor Hall.
