I was there to repair the company's vessel and getting her ready for the annual inspection in Dampier. During this period of time, I missed celebrating the Lunar Chinese New Year, Valentine's Day and my damn Birthday all alone. At least I got a room with a view of the ocean. Keeping track of time and places. Kuala Rompin, Malaysia Oct 2003 Bike Tour. 2 days Bike Adventure Tour with my sister and her partner. Getting our bikes ready. Malaysian east coast road. Taking shelter from the rain. We decided to press on as the weather was not turning any better. Map of the area. We decided to find the road to Endau Rompin river. Could not get good traction, ground was too muddy. Needwd the help coz I could not get a good footing on the slippery ground. Now you know why.

Keeping track of time and places. Koh Lanta, Thailand Mar 2002. This was one of the most memorial family trip. We took a coach from Singapore to Thailand not knowing any destination to go. Somehow we met some great Swedish friends in this trip and we ended up spending 1 week on this tranquil island together. Now they are our family friends from far away land. We had to cross 2 islands before reaching our destination. Swedish friends that we met in the coach. My son, Scott Ryan Chew then only 6yrs old.

Located on Cijin Island, Kaohsiung City, together our friends ZhongHan and YaPing we decided to head down to Cijin Island to try the Japanese 關東煮 and BBQ. It was understood that most of their dishes were imported from Japan. This is basically a short trail around 8.5Km but mostly technical, from hill climb, riding down the steps and even carry the bike up the hill. Last time I rode in this track was about a year ago. It felt good coming back to the place again and see those bridge crossing we made was still intact. Todays weather was hitting hard on me, my whole body was burning hot. Wish there was a waterfall.
