http://seanandmakenna.blogspot.com/2012/02/year-called-2011.html
Friday, February 10, 2012. A year called 2011. We decided not to send out Christmas cards and letters this year since our little baby is coming in April and I wanted to send out baby announcements after she comes. Following this decision it was decided that a posting of 2011 would be made available on our blog, this seemed like such a great idea! Well, now that it is February 10, 2012 I think it its time….Ok, past time! To begin, I would like to wish everyone a Happy Valentines Day! We would go from Colu...

Sean and Makenna: October 2010
http://seanandmakenna.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 25, 2010. Ready, Set, GO! This story starts on Saturday, October 23, 2010. Sean (the dedicated and super smart husband of this story) spent the day in Philadelphia seeing 12 mock patients for the practical portion of his Step 2 boards. As soon as it was over he flew into Columbus arriving at 7:30 pm. The 36 hours that followed were like a whirlwind of bliss. Driving though Chicago was great. The city is huge- tall, magnificent buildings with TONS of people. Traffic was crazy slow ...Then ...

Sean and Makenna: May 2011
http://seanandmakenna.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 16, 2011. Recount: an act or instance of giving an account of an event or experience. I suppose a better title would be recountS seeing how there is more than one event or experience to give an account of. So to avoid confusion let us start at the beginning and then we’ll finish at the end. First recount: To ensure we start in the same place please review the following-. Tire: A rubber covering, typically. Flat: Lacking interest or emotion; dull and lifeless. 3 Kia missing a jack. It was been...

Sean and Makenna: Our Sweet little Hennessey
http://seanandmakenna.blogspot.com/2012/08/our-sweet-little-hennessey.html
Saturday, August 25, 2012. Our Sweet little Hennessey. We arrived at the hospital at about 11 am. Once there, I was checked in, set up in a room and examined by a nurse to see if I was truly in labor. A rush of water, some relief of pressure that had been building for the last 8 and half months and then a real contraction. OUCH! Up to this point I was thinking labor was not going to be so bad. Ha! For an unknown reason the medication was working everywhere except my hip so I felt everything that was happ...

Wednesday, November 17, 2010. Midway between Rochester and Galloway. Ohio, Indiana and Illinois. Harry Potter keeping me company. Turned over corn fields and gray clouds. Do you remember these windmills? My favorite windmills in the world! I learned they come accompanied with Red Lights. I was driving along and it was as dark as can be when all the sudden thousands of red lights filled the horizon! Is Tower (Formally know as Sear's Tower). Also known as the tallest tower in the Untied States. The Scut Mo...

Monday, March 28, 2011. The Time Has Come. Have you ever seen Harriet the Spy? Well, there is a part in that movie where the nanny is helping Harriet get ready for bed, they recite a rhyme the goes like this:. 8220;’The time has come,” the Walrus said,. 8220;To talk of many things:. Of shoes—and ships—and sealing-wax—. Of cabbages—and kings—. And why the sea is boiling hot—. And whether pigs have wings.”. On Monday March 14, 2011 we received notice that we had in fact matched. This was wonderful news.

Sean and Makenna: 9 months of our lives
http://seanandmakenna.blogspot.com/2012/08/a-little-over-year-ago-this-what-i.html
Wednesday, August 22, 2012. 9 months of our lives. A little over a year ago this what I looked like. My normal self. It was July, we had just moved to Reno, Nevada for the intern year of Sean’s residency. The apartment was put together, I was waiting to hear back about a job that I had just interviewed for, (which I ended up getting by the way) and life was moving along as expected. Sean however is a little brighter than me and suspected my new found appétit was more than just hunger. No, I’m wonde...

Sean and Makenna: October 2011
http://seanandmakenna.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 23, 2011. Reno: The Biggest Little City in the World! We have sure enjoyed exploring and getting to know our new home. Sean is working crazy hours this year so we have had to be a little creative about our explorations but so far we have been able to see a lot of this great state. I know that seeing our porch is not the most exciting thing about Nevada but seeing this grill outside of its box and in use is something we are very excited about! Fortunately for us, we purchase regular gas.
