It was a fairly strenuous hike to begin with but added to that was the heat! There was not a breath of wind stirring which made this hike doubly strenuous. On this particular hike there were only three hikers. This was probably due to the extreme heat we have been having. Most of the time there was a steady wind which help cool the hikers. The distance for this hike was about 10 miles and I would rate the hike as moderate. If you would like to see a couple more pictures of the hikers, click here.

The total distance was only two miles. After only one mile everyone was soaked with perspiration and it was decided to go back. No rating today because normally this is an easy hike, but not today.
