While they were away. When my parents went with my middle sister, Brittany, on a cruise they left not only Jenna and me, but our dog, Pedi. While they were away he expressed his urgency for their return. The pictures show it all. This past Wednesday we had Gears. An awesome event for growing leaders to learn about the bible and maturing in their faith. It is an phenomenal event that is going to change lives! Who thought a trunk was that important? It was a good, but did I say long day? Who is this girl?

Lauren's Space: Halloween Hope Night

What a successful event! For the past few years FRC. Has been hosting these kick butt events on Halloween. This year we did a similar event to the past couple years, but limited the population of families to ones with special needs children. So . Andres, Ashley, and I got together and threw together an army trunk at our Cooper City Campus. Throughout the night we got the opportunity to give candy. To children that have, many of them, not been out of the house on Halloween night for many years!

Friday, January 2, 2009. As a Christian, I understand that I am to spread the Word of Jesus Christ. As a Christian, it saddens my heart to see people die in darkness without the opportunity to know Christ.or even to hear of Who He is. But, as a Christian, there is something that I cannot comprehend no matter how hard I try. How can someone know, I mean REALLY know, Who Christ is and experience Who He is and then continue to live their life like He does not exist? How can they ignore such an amazing God?

At my Gammy and Gandaddy's house in Orlando there is a showcase. Of all the food that our family has enjoyed over the years. We consider the dishes comfort food. The list contains anything from inside jokes to loved classics. Some of the food may not be as delicious as some other gourmet dishes, but the idea that they are "family recipes" past down over so many years makes them that much. More special.
