Friday, November 15, 2013. Paath- baat pate ki ka natya rupantran. Diwali celebration in the class. PEC Activity: To understand the concept of half in fractions. Two circles were made named as Station 1. In station 1 a set of cards with some even numbers were put. And in station 2 another set of cards were put on which half of the previous numbers is being written. Now students came one by one, pick one card from station, find its half from station 2 and came back to their places. Lab activity of maths.

And in station 2 another set of cards were put on which half of the previous numbers was written. Students had to come one by one, pick one card from 1st circle & find its half from circle 2. Saturday, November 30, 2013. Lab Activity in Maths: To learn factors of a given number using geoboard. Suppose we have to find the factors of 10. Students were explained to put rubber bands on the geoboard to enclose 10 pins in as many different ways as possible. Students came one by one and put rubber bands as instructed They derive at the conclusion that factors of 10 are - 1,2,5 and 10. Similarly they experimented the same activity with different numbers.
