Sea and Sun Camp History. Kids Just Want To Have FUN! The 2001 Camp saw many new activities for the kids to enjoy. Below are some of the great memories. The kids got a real kick out of being able to play basketball. The goal has a loud beeper and the ball has a bell inside of it. There is also a bell on the net so the players know when they swish it. This equipment was donated by the Mississippi Council of the Blind. Swimming is always a high point for the campers. This year was no different.

Sea and Sun Camp History. The Final Camp at SeaShore. But we didn't know it at the time! TOPS Soccer Guru's Mike Flynt and David Barham prepare for the kids. First big event of any camp is always EATING! Horse and Carriage rides were a big hit. Our Final Trip to Sharkheads. Thanks for many wonderful years. Our campers have Style. Best Friends. Thanks to Camp. University of Alabama Birmingham Graduate Students always make camp better. Nothing like bouncing just before dinner. First by Land and then by Sea.

Sea and Sun Camp History. Just a few shots of the 1998 camp. The day trip to Ship Island is always a big hit. and a good way to wear out the campers. The first camps were held on a shoestring. We now have permanent directional signs to help campers find their way. Lunch on the grounds of Beauvoir. Hamburgers were the choice of the day and boy were they good! The Counselors get to eat too. Sometimes! Sunday is Awards day. We outgrew this room with this years camp, but it served nicely in 1998.

Sea and Sun Camp History. Camp 2000 was the first sponsored by the Lions of Mississippi. Parachute games on the front lawn of the camp. The Shrimp Boat tour is a favorite each year. This trip is donated by the tour owners. If you are visiting Biloxi and looking for something interesting to do for a few hours, go down to the Small Craft Harbor and take the tour. If you do, let them know you are a Lion and thank them for what they do. Swimming at the Natatorium in Biloxi.

Sea and Sun Camp History. The Year of the COOL Campers! 2004 Campers Were COOL! Sunglasses were courtesy of Isle of Capri Casino. Basketballs were donated by Papa John's Pizza. Sharkheads is the place that lets the kids shop till the counselors drop! Thank you Jennifer for your continued support of our camp with donations of discount cards and fudge. The Clown was a big hit. His identity remains unknown. Some like the water. Some like the sand. New Friends and old. The Girls just want to Have Fun!
