I got out for a couple jumps yesterday with Roger Gillen. it was cool but a lovely clear day, blowing up a bit out of Hotham. First time out with the camera in awhile. The water is clearing up after all the rain quite nicely. vis was 50 ft. Heres a few of the beasts you set me upon! Good day,company and dives. one old one new. Always good to get the roll the dice explore dive in.

After a spectacular week the weather finally changed on us and rained the last day with Beat and Bill. The vis is still poor under 70 at 15 feet although it is clearing in the sub 20 foot zone to almost 40. Im am posting a group of shots taken yesterday showing just a bit of the life we saw. Winds were howling in Malaspina Strait but the weather was rainy but calm in the Agamamnon Channel. 4 of us dove and Pat was aboard giving a timely hand here and there. Thanks Pat. I had the pleasure of meeting and diving with Jackie Hildering (aka the Marine detective). I was just out the other day with my friend Pat who is recently certified and just getting into diving. Its great to see people keen to dive dive dive. In spite the name of the spot I did not see any octos but saw some signs.
