Monday, April 26, 2010. So far this year. Let me start off and say that I know I am terrible at keeping up with my blog. Oh well. Who really cares anyway! Jordan's older brother Brandon got married a couple of weeks ago to Brittany. Now we have 2 Brittany Brown's in the family! It was the best weather for a wedding and the flowers at Temple square were beautiful! Waiting for the photographer to get there so the bride and groom could come out! We're a little late in the game this year but we carved our Halloween pumpkin earlier this week. Zeke was interested for a little while and helped scoop the pumpkin guts out. Then he proceeded to unravel a ball of yarn throughout the house. Blake did most of the work and it turned out great. You may notice he is missing pants in the pictures, he's going through a phase where he doesn't want to wear pants and is constantly taking them off. What does one do in Sarasota, FL at midnight? I, unlike many, sit on an uncomfortable bed in a strange-smelling hotel room wishing I was at home in my own bed with my own strange-smelling children crying at odd intervals all night long because they have colds. I never thought I would wish that my kids would wake me up, and yet here I sit wishing it. I'm at the end of a long 5 weeks of travel and I've learned a lot from my voyages. For example:. Ellie's been pulling herself up and cruising for some time now and just recently she's been playing around with the idea of taking steps. She's taken as many as seven steps in one try. Wednesday, December 23, 2009. I know, I know.I'm working on it. Such is my blogging history that I neglect you in a time of transition or just pure laziness. A lot has happened since the last post! Our dogs are the ones that have to suffer a little bit because they don't have the backyard anymore and we haven't been able to trust them to be out and about downstairs so when we leave, the poor little things have to either be outside in the cold or locked up in their kennels. Thursday, January 12, 2012. Like most new Momma's I know that have a new baby and a toddler or just a new baby, I don't get ready anymore. I wear sweats or pajamas pretty much all day. I don't do my hair or make-up unless I HAVE to go out in public and by "doing hair and make-up" I mean putting my hair in a pony and throwing on lotion and mascara. Maybe a pair of jeans to make it look like I get dressed each day. Lies. And something magic happened. I felt BETTER! Anyone else with me? I wanna go shopping.

Bits and Pieces from the Cook Family". Sunday, December 4, 2011. Thanksgiving and Black Friday. We had such a wonderful time celebrating Thanksgiving with some of our "Alaska Family" and wow did we celebrate! Jaxson going lefty just to make sure the food kept coming! I love that the Coombs have made pinatas a new must have at any celebration. Such a great time and the kids were in heaven! I still don't know who was having more fun, James or all of the kids!
