Uniting cultures: one glass of wine at a time.". The contents of this blog are mine personally and do not reflect any position of the U.S. government or the Peace Corps. Wednesday, June 30, 2010. Sothis doesn't necessarily show what my summer here in Georgia is like, actually.not at all. I saw ice in drinks at the beginning of the video! Where's the animal slaughter? Or the marshutkas filled with 26 people when it has seats for only 18! In a nutshell: georgia. Wednesday, June 16, 2010. Johnny McRae, PCV.

My Project Mommyhood: June 2012
http://myprojectmommyhood.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 12, 2012. Ok, so what is it called when you remove all the peas from a pod? No, that's corn. Food for thought, that one. Anywho, we got a large bag of fresh peas in pods (not sugar snap peas where you can eat the pods, but actual peas, as in the kind you can buy frozen in the bag. This was a new addition to our produce bin, along with some bok choy, so I decided to make a huge pot of soup. This will work great for meals for the week! Freaking love that kid. Links to this post. I'm a mom, wi...

My Project Mommyhood: March 2012
http://myprojectmommyhood.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 29, 2012. Who doesn't love a good 'ol bowl of Macaroni and Cheese, or as my oldest son calls it "Macky and cheese"? It's about as comfort-foodish as comfort food gets, and in this house it gets gobbled up so fast my arm gets sore from scooping it onto the plates. For me, I prefer my wee little Parker to be hive-free, so we opt for the egg-free/cow's milk free stuff! I then tossed it all together with the pasta and poured it into a baking dish and popped into a warm oven to buy me some time.

My Project Mommyhood: April 2012
http://myprojectmommyhood.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 4, 2012. Monday night was a big night for Logan - he started T-ball! This is kinda a huge step in the life of a a little guy, right? I know it is about baseball, yadda yadda, but I just couldn't stop focusing on my little man in these pants! He actually loved it. He loved catching, pitching, batting and all of the other baseball terms that are used whilst playing baseball. Note to self: learn baseball terminology/rules}. Exhibit A: eating dandelions. I just really kind of love this photo.

My Project Mommyhood: October 2011
http://myprojectmommyhood.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 25, 2011. He leaves the nest. After it taking me 2 months to start to get caught up on posts, I FINALLY wrote this one yesterday. only for it to be sucked up somewhere into the interwebz. I may have muttered some expletives in my head. Logan: "Mommy, do you have a photo shoop tonight? When my boy asks, "Mommy, how did your photo shoop go tonight" I get all melty. I am watching my baby turn into an inquisitive, kind and thoughtful person, and that makes me proud. To say this was a challen...

My Project Mommyhood: July 2011
http://myprojectmommyhood.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 28, 2011. Parker started perfecting his sitting skills this week, just about a week behind big brother, but he has yet to show his skills whilst in front of a camera. As soon as I pull that bad boy out to document this milestone he falls over like a drunken sailor. This is the reason that the following photographic documentation is lacking a wee-bit-o'-Parker, and has a whole-lotta Coop. Oh, this face. swoon. Lindsay - Mama to Preschooler Logan and Twin Babies Cooper and Parker. Logan is a...
