http://welfyville.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 26, 2008. Too Bad They Don't Make 'em Anymore. We bought this car:. What kind is it? For years people would ask. My oldest son is still driving it. This photo was taken today. It still looks kinda spiffy, no? But since they don't make 'em what's a non-minivan mom to do? Today on my way home I saw this:. Friday, April 25, 2008. Rachel Ray hangs out where we do. Thursday, April 24, 2008. My Cousin is the BEST! Tuesday, April 15, 2008. What you find when you clean. This is how Lucas got hook...

Welcome to Welfyville: Immune System Breakdown
http://welfyville.blogspot.com/2012/11/immune-system-breakdown.html
Sunday, November 18, 2012. For the past several years those pesky little illnesses like colds, stomach bugs, and strep have pretty much left me alone. I attribute that to years of on-the-job exposure. However, this year I've had all three. In a row. Within two months. I. Hate. It. Well, now I've had them all it should be time for health, wealth, and power, right? Have a great Thanksgiving. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Ready for November, Folks? View my complete profile. Welcome to Welfyville: July 2007
http://welfyville.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 26, 2007. I spent the better part of two days over at Marianne's house helping her create jewelry for a horse show sale. She's very talented. And scattered! Friday, July 20, 2007. Not evey post comes with a photo. I'm going to put a poll on the right side of this blog to see what you all think about that. Anyway, the concert was great and if we lived here we would be members of the garden and subscribers to the music series. Just too much fun! Sunday, July 15, 2007. 50 Welfybucks to the pe...

Welcome to Welfyville: Dorie - errrr I mean Norma
http://welfyville.blogspot.com/2012/09/dorie-errrr-i-mean-norma.html
Saturday, September 22, 2012. Dorie - errrr I mean Norma. My sister and I are tag-team tending to my mom as she goes through the stages of Alzheimer’s. Sometimes it can be incredibly frustrating to spend time with her. The "looping" stories - how many times can you hear about how she first saw the mountains? The forgotten appointments - really? Despite the fact that many Alzheimer's patients become cranky and even combative, Mom has stayed remarkably pleasant and kind. So I'll reinvest in some patience a...

Welcome to Welfyville: Goodbye, Mom. We love you.
http://welfyville.blogspot.com/2014/01/goodbye-mom-we-love-you.html
Sunday, January 19, 2014. Goodbye, Mom. We love you. Norma Ruth Johnson Haynes entered the world in Council Bluffs, Iowa on November 6, 1924. Her parents, Dennis and Helen Johnson, were pleased and relieved to have a girl. Her brothers, Denny and Bob, treated her like all brothers do, but she loved them anyway. The family moved to Salt Lake City in 1935. In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation to the Alzheimer's Association (. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Ready for November, Folks?

Welcome to Welfyville: December 2007
http://welfyville.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 22, 2007. Got word yesterday that my car won't be ready until after the holiday. It seems I was pushed a little harder than I realized and the rear axle was bent. They tried to do an alignment and found that they would have to order another part. So, no car until next Thursday. Well, Merry Christmas to you all. Saturday, December 8, 2007. Welcome to Welfyville: May 2008
http://welfyville.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 4, 2008. Happy Birthday, Sis. So another May 4th arrives and it's my sister's birthday - again. She's the big "double nickels" this year. She said that, not me. Anyway, I think she deserves five plus five reasons why she's the greatest sister on the planet. So here goes:. 10 She knows how to do every crafty or artsy thing known to man. Or at least she's purchased the stuff to do it with. 6 Her "hare brained schemes" are more fun than most people's planned activites. And the number 1 reason my...

Welcome to Welfyville: July 2008
http://welfyville.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 29, 2008. Wednesday, July 16, 2008. I love the mountains, I love the rolling hills. The Black Hills of South Dakota (my 26th state) were amazing. This is the view from our driveway. The long drive through Wyoming was worth it. We stopped at Devil's Tower:. We spent more time right outside the monument at the prairie dog town:. We went boating - something we don't ever do at home. I wonder why not? We panned for gold:. And we went to Mt. Rushmore. We even petted kangaroos and alligators!
