I was really excited to decorate for Christmas this year since it is Amelia’s first Christmas. However, we didn’t end up getting our decorations up as soon as I had hoped for. But we were finally able to decorate one evening after Andy got home from work and had a great family time setting up the tree. Amelia also got a cute rocking horse ornament from Grandma Lin.

Amelia turned 8 weeks old this week, I can hardly believe it has been that long. Unfortunately, this was a tough week for our girl. Since hip dysplasia. The first couple of days in the brace were kind of rough as she was pretty fussy and just wanted to be held all the time. But she seems to have adjusted to the brace now and is doing a lot better. Life at the Shores. It's not always a walk on the beach, but we are having fun along the way! January 26, 2010. Amelia at 4 Months. The doctor said her hip is looking great so we can start to wean her off the brace by giving her a few hours a day with it off. At first, she wasn’t sure what to think about having it off and seemed uncomfortable with out it, but she has quickly gotten used to having time with the brace off. Life at the Shores. It's not always a walk on the beach, but we are having fun along the way! December 1, 2009. Last weekend we headed to Michigan to celebrate Thanksgiving with my family there. As always, it was a jam packed weekend, but we had a great time and it was so nice because Amelia was able to meet many of her Michigan relatives for the first time. Tyler, Grandma, and Mia. Our friends Brooke and Garrett got married yesterday and Amelia joined us at the reception. Brooke and Garrett had a beautiful wedding and are so happy together.
