Saturday, June 20, 2015. On Charleston, Race, and Violence in America. I haven't posted on this blog in quite a while. In fact, since I've been periodically writing about art and culture at www.smashcutculture.com. I've all but abandoned this platform except when something terrible (like getting detained by the Port Authority Police in New York for no reason) happens. And indeed. Here I am, writing because something terrible happened. This, to me, seems like the embodiment of the literal definition.
