What I'm reading or just thinking. Sunday, January 3, 2010. Listextend() doesn't return a value! I don't enjoy the following:. Python 2.6.4 (r264:75706, Dec 7 2009, 18:43:55). GCC 44.1] on linux2. 1,2,3].extend([4,5,6]). A = [1,2,3]. I really don't think of a Python list's extend() method this way. Extend should return a value. Alright, so it modifies the list in place instead of creating a new value, so what? Just return the same list. Labels: Python programming FunctionalProgramming.

What I'm reading or just thinking. Saturday, December 26, 2009. Compiling MySQLdb on Mac OS 10.4. I develop on a variety of machines, one of which is a Mac (my personal laptop). Followed these steps. To edit the setup posix.py. File with the full path of mysql config. Basically you just need to point the script to the /usr/local/mysql/bin/mysql config. Good notes on installation here:. It's probably because of greenhouse gasses, the millions of people who drive cars, stinky old coal power plants, etc. It's probably true.
