In November of 2005, my heater was failing and starting to seem dangerous (it made a loud booming sound when the heat fired up). It was a bad time of year, being the busy holidays, but I had to replace it. I decided to also add central air since all I had was a small, old, wall air conditioning unit. The wall ac does not cool the whole house. I chose Sears for the following reasons:.
