藏品英喬治三世風格，爲18世紀中期，木紋非常美麗，做工也極爲精緻。 從17世紀開始，中國傢俱作爲當時商品貿易的一部分進入西方。雖然數量狠少，也沒有人把它作爲一種收藏品，但當時的傢俱設計已經開始結合中西方不同的風格。 18世紀，西方開始刮起一股“中國風”，傢俱與瓷器、絲綢一樣向西方普及中國式的設計，它們常常被搶購一空，而上面的龍紋、假山和人物服飾等，也都成爲西方人效仿的對象。到了19世紀，中國出口傢俱的數量增多，但其中多是漆器傢俱，直到19世紀後半葉，硬木傢俱才開始佔有一定位置。當時歐洲的中上階層家庭都以擁有中國的傢俱爲時尚。 在明代時，中國的傢俱由蘇式傢俱獨領風騷，一統天下，到了清代出現了廣式傢俱，其大發展是在清中期以後。作爲硬木傢俱的重要産地，廣州雖然晚於蘇州，但其發展異常迅速，成就斐然，特色鮮明。 廣州由於其特定的地理位置，自古以來是我國海外貿易的重要港口，是同東南亞及阿拉伯等海外各國進行貿易往來的主要門戶。明清時期，它成爲我國“得風氣之先”，對外貿易和文化交流的一個重要視窗。 由於原料充分，加之經濟不斷發展，清統治者對物質生活的追求表現出極大的欲望，他們追...廣式傢俱的大氣和豪華，...
