November | 2009 | SEASIDE CREATIVITY
https://seasidecreativity.wordpress.com/2009/11
Archive for November, 2009. Clean and simple sponging. I love this technique not only because it is easy to do, but with the right color combination it will really make your cards pop! I started by masking off a rectangle on a piece of white cardstock – this was easily done by taking a rectangle nestability and taping it on the cardstock with repositionable tape. Thanks for stopping by! November 23, 2009 at 12:16 pm. A pear for all seasons. So I pulled it out and created this card. Now, in keeping with t...

Archive for October, 2009. A few recent challenges. I’ve been able to participate in more of the challenges at SCS and I’d like to share with you these cards that were made specifically for the challenge. First is a sketch challenge…this particular sketch provided an opportunity to dip into my stash of designer paper. It’s a personal goal of mine to actually use. My supplies and not hoard them and doing challenges is a great way to achieve this goal! Thanks for stopping by! October 29, 2009 at 10:26 am.

Archive for June, 2009. Copics in 10 Minutes. When you first start using copics, there is no getting around it – you have to practice! Of course, this is true with any new tool and copics are no different. What I’ve done is stamp an image many times on a sheet of good cardstock ( Flourishes Classic White cardstock. Is used here) and just practice coloring! Here’s a video on how I did it! And here is my finished card! June 25, 2009 at 7:10 am. A Timeless Tuesday Challenge. Was added for a little softness.

I’d love for you to visit and let me know what you think! January 15, 2010 at 11:26 am. Clean and simple…….collage? Is there such a thing? I’ve seen cards that have a collage-y feel, yet also retain a clean and simple design and this was my first attempt. Thanks for stopping by! January 11, 2010 at 2:13 pm. I love ...
Can your craft support a family? | SEASIDE CREATIVITY
https://seasidecreativity.wordpress.com/2010/01/07/can-your-craft-support-a-family
Can your craft support a family? January 7, 2010 at 9:07 am. That was a title of an article in The Crafts Report. She describes being successful as having $2,000 a month after business expenses, but admits not many would be able to live on that and suggest that you “don’t give up your day job” – especially if it provides a regular income and health benefits. And what about costs for marketing, sales, legal, accounting, etc? Ms Lewis’ articles can be found on The Crafts Report here. 1 Comment Add your own.
