Tuesday, May 30, 2006. In the nick of time. Just before May is over. Here is my interpretation of a smock, for tie-one-on's. And a bad mirror self portrait. I was inspired by this beautiful smock. I'm really enjoying Tie one on. It's a great way for me to experiment and practice making my own patterns. For this, I used a cotton fabric I've had for years. This one's definitely on the small side, but it's nice to have it realized all the same :). I've been day-dreaming about a new ironing board cover for a long time now. Monday, July 31, 2006. I put some in the freezer as they are with just a little bit of sugar. We still have some left over from last year, so I didn't think it necessary to put more.
