You are probably well aware that many of the more colorful and expressive words in the English language were first used aboard ships at sea. In a very real way sailor talk was a dialect, a provincial language with a specific and very distinct usage. Incidentally, there were no women on board. Which is a paid service. For off-line editing and testing I used XAMPP. And WordPress on a MS Windows XP PC. FileZilla. Client allows me to efficently upload stuff to the webserver.
