The silver maple in the middle of Vermont Square Park has been cut down. I keep meaning to sit down and count the rings to see how old it is. The park was made by knocking down several blocks of houses. I think this tree was about 100 years old, which means it was there before the park. August 15, 2009. 8212; seatonforest @ 8:13 pm.
